My boss is out for a month on vacation. Couldn't have left at a worse time. Everyone slacks while he is gone and I get to deal with all the dipshits who call angry about parts being late I believe it. Things can go to hell and back when no one is held accountable. Unfortunately I dont have the authority to hold people accountable. I just keep detailed notes about how long it takes to get some of the stuff I need to push work through. I show it to my boss when he gets back and he lays into people. I work hard while I am here because I hate having work sit on my desk for extended periods of time. Would rather just get shit done and have down time than sit on things. |

I just keep detailed notes about how long it takes to get some of the stuff I need to push work through. I show it to my boss when he gets back and he lays into people. I work hard while I am here because I hate having work sit on my desk for extended periods of time. Would rather just get shit done and have down time than sit on things. I'm the same. If I had a job where I had a week's amount of work waiting for me for a normal person sitting on my desk Monday, I'd usually have it done by Wednesday afternoon in a quality manner just so I didn't have to worry about deadlines. I always like to get things done as soon as I get them. |

Once I have all of the material and framework I can put a quote together in a few hours. Nothing complicated to it, just math. |
