The OEL retanners that comment at ON are going on about "Manning grabbing his pants". They remind me of Leafs fans. He did grab him by the pants and then that tag team was very unnecessary, I think they should suspend the Flyers from the league and give the Oilers Giroux as compensation. Players get grabbed all the time. If it was an illegal play, you'd think that TMac and his coaching staff would have been all over it, same with Chiapet. But I'll all for the second part and the compensation. |

Mannings dive on top of McDavid afterwards was one of those "accidentally on purpose" plays that happen all the time. After seeing how bad the Flyers played last night, not sure I would even want Giroux. That was like watching the Oil play these past few seasons. |

I'm surprised no one on the Oilers threw their elbows around in the third when Philly was extra chippy, especially after McDavid. Sure it wasn't "intentional" but you'd think that some guys would've made sure Philly paid for it. Unless TMac said "don't." |

Yeah sometimes not fighting back, or giving cheap shots back is viewed as being scared or weak. Why can't the fact a team doesn't get into that game, be the result of them rising above it, not giving in to emotion, and fighting back on the scoreboard? |
