Hey. That's what this thread is for. Discussion of players. Who's an underrated player for you? Namestnikov. He's going to have a breakout season. I see Namestnikov like you view Abby. Nothing really special. He's a third line plug. Except he can play center. |

Are you high right now? Mcdavid really? A year ago, I'd say Josi... but people are now seeing him for what he is. If he was in a bigger market though he'd be the talk of the town. I'll put Stralman into that same bracket. As it stands, I think that one of the more criminally underrated players is Jared Spurgeon; he can skate, play all situations, and typically eats minutes for Minny... if only he was 6'3 instead of 5'9 fans would be creaming over him. I think that it's tougher to pick forwards that are underrated, purely because by doing their job (putting up points) they instantly become more visible. I do like Dom Moore however; OEL team guy, plays OEL defense and chips in with a few points too. He's not going to win you many games individually, but he's the kind of guy that every team needs a couple of to succeed. I'll also nominate Marcus Kruger; he gets hidden a bit because of his teammates, but he's one hell of a solid player. |

Clearly Hanzal is the most underrated... He is after all a top 30 center in the NHL.

I trust that Dubas and the moneypuck machine will make a play for him Yeah, Minny is tight with the cap, i can't see them retaining him when they've got good blueline depth with youngsters Dumba, Reilly, Folin, & Olofsson. |
