I honestly to expect this team to fumble into the playoffs and washed out in the first round again, thoughts?

I can see them hanging around the middle of the pack all year and winning a round depnding on health. If by some miracle they can put together 3 lines that can actually score they have a chance to go on a run.

I'm with Feds on this one. I really don't think we have much of a chance to make an impact during the regular season. I see us ending up similar to last season, around 5-7th place in the East, with our powerplay ending up in the top 3 again (especially with the addition of Green).
In the playoffs, we need the kids to really step up like they did against Anaheim a couple years ago. That's going to be the key as it seems Datsyuk has been single handedly the only reason we won games over the last two years. Tatar and Nyquist need to take this year to the next level and Jurco needs to pull a 20+ goal season. I expect second round exit.
All this will change with Larkin, Mantha, and that new Russian kid coming up.. could see those three doing some damage for us next year if we properly play them right.

You guys will trade one of your first round picks in the next several years and Mantha to acquire Chara at 1/2 Pastrnak and Marchand and win the cup this year. And in a separate trade Howard for Rask straight up. Plan the motha fucking parade |
