At least with 4 on 4 there is a better chance of an error leading to a win, but yeah just a tie after 5 minutes of OT would be so much better.

I think the good teams will really feast on the bad teams. In the AHL the scoring at 3 on 3 was through the roof, I don't remember the exact numbers but it was a staggering increase in games decided in OT. Some teams are toast if they suffer injuries or ejections in games, Ottawa without Karlsson on the ice would be terrible. Arizona without OEL is going to get slaughtered, some teams might actually opt for 3 forwards.

Being able to roll out Nuge-Eberle-Schultz, Hall-McDavid-Klefbom, Yak-Lander?-Sekera Maybe not pretty defensively, but it should be a fun track meet to watch. Hell I'd even like to see Hall nuge and Ebs go 3 vs 3 most anyone. Toews kane and Keith kinda scares me though.

Getz-Perry-Fowler Duchene/Landy/macK-Barrie Johansen-Saad-Johnson Sedins and whoever Sharks have a couple good trios to put together Ovie-Backstrom-anyone Most teams can throw a OEL trio out there. I still like what the oilers can throw out there.

I'm thinking most teams would run two groups of three for the whole five minutes but teams like the Oilers can just roll skill over the boards like a tidal wave. I seriously can't imagine who Arizona is going to send out. OEL-Vermette-Domi?

They went from something like 36% of games being decided in OT and not shootout To about 72% in OT and not shootout.

You wouldn't know that though being the worst poster of all time.
