 I remember him prattling on about how trading the cancer of Seguin was going to help you guys x1000 a couple years ago. He's a real twat. Oh he is awful. He could the only guy in the Bruins fanbase in 2011 that was mad they won a cup. I'm sure he is a fucking real gem to watch a game with. Hey JR. Would I like a beer? No. Pass me the bleach please. There's a reason I love the Wings fan base for the most part. Only a very small portion of them are retanners. We've been so jaded with success and making the playoffs when we aren't successful in the last 30 years, we just don't have a mean spirit in us or explode when when we are just doing meh. We always assume we'll be better the next year. But this second half of this season has been a real test for a lot of us. When I quit watching Wednesday's game against the Lightning, I told Feds91Stammer on the phone that I realize why my dad became a raging alcoholic in the late 1970s during the period where he was a huge Wings fan. I think that calm atmosphere we have in the Wings fanbase will come unglued this offseason if we fail to make the playoffs and then we will have by far the most manic, suicidal, crazy, hate-spewing, AlfieKing-like, Tanners in the league's group of fanbases. Me included probably. I WILL turn into Jimmy Tanner if we don't do something to improve this fucking team. |

I have been aggravated with them at various points this season but come on, they're not a contender yet. Dial it the fuck down. For you guys in Detroit, this could be then end of the calm. Would Blashill get canned if they don't make the post season? |

Ken Holland would call it a fluke that was bound to a happen to a team that was SO fortunate to be in the playoffs for 24 years straight. Blashill has been heralded as Babcock 2.0 or Babcock-mini since he joined the Griffins and the hype was so high when Babcock was rumored to be leaving that Blashill takes his spot, I think Illitch and Holland will keep him on as they see someone who's in a "transition" period and letting the players adjust to a new coach. I really don't think he's bad. He's stubborn, way too much, but his real problem is his assistant coaches. Our new PP coach brought down a team that was number 2 last year to 24thish this year. And that should NOT happen with the Eurotwins, Larkin, Nyquist, Tatar, Mantha, in front and the people who are PP specialists in the back with Kronwall and Green. Its not just a team of everyone not living up to their potential, its partly them, but it really is a lot on how the coach wants them to play. A player isn't going to say "Ok, coach, we'll do it your way." then goes out to the ice and tells his teammates "ok, fuck what he said" |

Well apparently he got "Y-manned" or permanently IP Potato'd. Of course he and Iggy are blaming it on a poster that Jero was bantering with. Jero had been going thread to thread and getting Potato'd with one account, then posting under the other one right after for months now. He eventually pissed of one of the mods once too often I guess. Good, fuck that rat. May he forever be Potato'd from every hockey site! You still in Alberta or did you turn tale and run back home to Ontario yet?  Screw going back to Ontario, only time I'll be going there is to visit (two weddings within two weeks of each other) later this month. I've felt at home ever since I moved back to Alberta, shit, it's actually coming up on a year since then. Work's moving along pretty well, project should be finished in October. Is this the year you finally graduate? |
