I can give Sweeney a little credit on Ferraro, but drafting.....I wasnt impressed with the draft. Carlo was my favorite pick in the second round, and Lauzon or whatever the fuck his name is doesnt look to shabby either. DeBrusk and Senyshyn will struggle to crack the NHL roster and we will likely have more players like Koko who do decent in the AHL but are ghosts in the NHL. Time will tell on DeBrusk and Senyshyn for sure. Forsbacka-Karlsson is another one to look forward to as well as Kuraly. Yeah, hard for me to look forward to prospects anymore. Seems like the really dynamic ones get shipped out of town. Pasta is next.  |

Thats why Samsonov was perfect in Boston. He had all those flashy moves but never truly accomplished much. There was no need for Seguin in Boston. Not when we got crap like Talbot, Kempainnen and Connolly.

You spent Bergeron wrong Welcome back bud! How were the holidays? Dammit I always struggle with French names. Especially when smitten by their musky sexiness. Thank you sir. Good to be back. The holidays were good. Much alcohol was consumed and many a good laugh as is tradition with my very Irish family. How was yours? Being a Boston fan and being Irish are not surprising Man, now I miss my Boston rugby buddy's. Mine was pretty OEL, the parents came out from NS to visit my brother and I for ten days. That was a lot of fun, too much driving personally, because I did all of it, but from Jasper to my brothers place is 7 hours, that drive sucked! |

To be honest The 'Don' isnt too bad of a guy. Neely pulls the strings, Sweeney is just an obedient puppet. I'm not a fan of Neely as team president and calling the shots. It was however Sweeney's call to bring Rinaldo on board. That......and that alone makes me dislike his role as GM. I'm just waiting for the next bonehead move that is orchestrated by that clusterfuck of a management team. You know I'm not 100% sure on that. I don't think Neely could identify types like Zboril or Carlo(may be the better example.) Also I think picking up Ferraro was a good get. I'm still giving Sweeney a chance, he inherited one hell of a mess and depleted defence core from Chiarelli's regime. I will maintain my one constant that the Jacobs family needs to sell the team and then hopefully lose all their money in a Madoff style ponzi scheme run by Frank Reynolds. I hope this happens  |
