Lucic was interviewed saying it would be a dream come true, if he had the opportunity to dawn the Canucks sweater.
I personally think it would OEL that Canucks finally get someone who can hit, fight and score goals but I'm also questioning how it would play out with Ryan Miller being on the same team.
Thoughts?

I think Miller would get the sand out of his twat and they'd deal with it. I saw that interview and could easily see him with them as they rebuild. Maybe a 2-3 year deal. He could earn his last big contract with playing with the Sedins and getting some possible career highs.

Also, the signing of Lucic could go either way: He could end up being the catalyst that the team needs to play harder and better. OR He could be the next David Clarkson.

If they don't move some vets and get younger then acquiring Lucic is a moot point imo.

We all know the Canucks are not going to the dance anytime soon. They got worse this season and having Lucic would just be a stop gap. That's why I said if I were Lucic, I'd try and use that time to play with my home town team to garner a big contract after the fact. That or he can play his twilight years (32-40) with them once they get a bit younger and more developed.
