Jordin Tootoo top 6 minutes, what can go wrong? That would be best possible scenario for the Devils. Unfortunately I think Schneider eliminates us from that conversation. 3rd or 4th overall gets us Puljujarvi or Logan Brown though. If Zacha pans out that's two thirds of a top line at some point.

Maybe. I never thought he was anything special even when he was healthy. You're right. Looking at his numbers in his first five seasons, he was pretty average, if not decent. BUST!

He now has to battle Gormley for that 6th spot. I dont see him making the team out of camp, but as soon as Stuart dies and has to go on IR, he will be first call up Would rather see bigras than siemens Same. Bigras has some decent potential. Siemens is an old cell phone manufacturer, not really made for NHL.

P.S. when do we finally get to see Siemens breaking skulls at the NHL level? He now has to battle Gormley for that 6th spot. I dont see him making the team out of camp, but as soon as Stuart dies and has to go on IR, he will be first call up 2011, before the Devils won the lotto and moved up to 4th, I was hoping for Couturier, Hamilton or Siemens. Looks like Hamilton wound up being the best of the bunch, although maybe Larsson takes another step forward this year.

Would rather see bigras than siemens I dont want them to rush him. Let him get a full AHL season in first. No need, stick him right with EJ to start the season. 25 mins per night. Baptism by fire. After this season buy out stuart and berra, take Guenin and Holden out to pasture and shoot them.

Maybe not in a winning environment, but his team always tries to win and I've been watching him blossom into a perfect 2-3 guy.

Indeed. But I do really think Bigras should get 4-5 NHL games this season. He should. Maybe you can snage Barrie from the Avs for Ericsson

Brown has the look of a top NHL center, something the Devils haven't had since Arnotts first stint.

Maybe not in a winning environment, but his team always tries to win and I've been watching him blossom into a perfect 2-3 guy. When PDB was fired and Stevens stepped back behind the bench Larsson started to flourish. With Stevens gone I'm worried, Larsson has the look of a top 4 guy, but the hopes were for a franchise defenseman when he was drafted. Right now I'd say Severson is likely to be the more likely to become that guy.
