Oct.20th farm results
Swiss-A
Noah Rod had a solid game today with a goal but Genève-Servette HC lost to HC Fribourg-Gottéron 5-3. Rod has 6 goals and 1 assist on the year with 25 shots on goal in 13 games played. This is definitely looking to be a break out year for him offensively.
Swe-1
Fredrik Bergvik wasn't in goal today as Mora IK lost to IK Pantern 3-1. He's just played in 2 games this season and is 0-2 with 6 GA, 3.05 GAA, .867 SV%
KHL-
Emil Galimov scored a goal and was +1 with 4 PIM & 3 shots on goal in the Lokomotiv victory against Dinamo R 3-1. Galimov has 7 goals & 5 assists in 24 games this season.

Oct.22nd farm results.
OHL- Kevin Lebanc had a solid game with 2 assists, +2, 3 shot on goal & even had 5min fighting penalty. As the Barrie Colts defeat the Flint Firebirds 8-5.
QMJHL-
Well Timo Meier was held in check as he only had a shot on goal in this game. But Cavan Fitzgerald continues to impress with his play as he had 1 assist, was -1 had 4 shots on goal to go along with 2 hits. The Halifax Mooseheads won against Moncton Wildcats 5-2.
Swe-1-
Well it looks like Bergvik wasn't in net for Mora IK as they lost 4-3 to IK Oskarshamn. It's too bad our goalie prospect Bergvik hasn't gotten much run this season so far, would really like to see what he can do.

Oct.23rd farm results.
WHL-
Well Rourke Chartier still out for the Kelowna Rockets with an upper body injury. As the Rockets win against the Prince George Cougers 5-2.
Alex Shoenborn was held off the score sheet, all he had was a tripping penalty in this one. As the Portland Winterhawks blank the Everett Silvertips 2-0.
OHL-
Dylan Sadowy just keeps doing his thing and racking them points up as he had 1 goal & 1 assist with 4 shots on goal. The Saginaw Spirit got the victory against the Mississauga Steelheads 4-3 by winning in the shootout. I'll keep saying it Sadowy is our most under rated prospect.
QMJHL-
Timo Meier was suspended for this game. Cavan Fitzgerald was a +1 with 2 shots on goal & had 3 hits. Fitzgerald just continues to impress. But the Halifax Mooseheads lose against the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles 4-1.
Jeremy Roy had a solid night by the looks of it. He was +2 with 5 shots on goal but was held off the score sheet. Roy even had a hit in this to go along with a hooking penalty. Alexis Vanier wasn't in action in this game. As Sherbrooke Phoenix win 5-3 against Drummondville Voltigeurs.
NCAA-
Marcus Vela was held off the score sheet. In New Hampshire's 6-6 tie angainst Massachusetts.
Jake Jackson & Cliff Watson both held off the score sheet as Michigan Tech falls against Northern Michigan 4-1.
Jake Kupsky didn't start in net for Union. This game was a 5-5 tie with Michigan.
Michael Brodzinski had an assist on the GWG PPG as Minnesota blanks Northeastern 4-0.
Gage Ausmus had an assist on the GWG as North Dakota blanks Vermont 2-0. Just a tid bit on Ausmus and North Dakota he's the Captain of the #1 team in the nation.
USHL-
Adam Parsells was held off the score sheet as he had 2 shots on goal & a roughing minor. Karlis Cukste was also held off the score sheet & was -1 with 1 shot on goal. As the Chicago Steel fall 2-1 to the Madison Capitols.
KHL-
Emil Galimov had 1 goal, was +1, had 5 shots on goal to go along with 3 hits & a blocked shot. As the Lokomotiv get the victory against Dynamo Msk 4-2. Galimov is a player I never really thought highly of b/c he never really did much in his previous seasons in the KHL but he's having his best year as he's already got 8 goals this season, his previous best was 9 goals....well he's going to blow past that mark.

While we're at first intermission for the Sharks. I wanted to type up tonight's action for the Sharks prospects! It has been a pretty productive night so far for the Sharks prospects. Oct 24th results: WHL - Rourke Chartier is out again. Injuries continue to plague his career up to this point. Alex Schoenborn has an assist so far tonight. OHL - Kevin Labanc had a big night tonight. He had a goal, 4 assists, Finished a game high +3, and had 3 shots on net in the 7-2 dismantling of the Sudbury Wolves. This brings Labanc up to 4 Goals, 9 Assists for 13 points in 11 GP. He's going to have to pick up his production to reach 100 points again this season, but tonight's game with 5 points and 4 assists is very reminiscent of his performances last season. Dylan Sadowy is a beast. I know 39 mentioned his opinion of Sadowy as our most underrated prospect, and I share that opinion. back on hockeybuzz I threw a shit fit when I saw Sadowy was left off our top 20 prospects altogether. Given this was before the 2015 draft, but prior to that I put Sadowy in our top 5. He has the misfortune of playing on a terrible Saginaw Spirit team. He carries that team on his back. Tonight was no exception. He picked up another goal and assist tonight. Finished with a +3 rating and 4 SOG in the 6-3 Saginaw win over the Number 1 team in the entire CHL the Erie Otters. This was the first regulation loss of the season for the Otters and Sadowy was first star. Sadowy already has 9 goals, 5 assists for 14 points in 11 games. He had 42 goals last season in a breakout season. He's on pace to return to that level of production. QMJHL - No one was in action tonight. NCAA - Jake Kupsky was in net for Union College and gave up 4 goals in their 5-2 defeat to New Hampshire. Marcus Vela did not factor into the scoring for UNH. Danny O'Regan picked up 3 assists tonight as he continues to do his thing for Boston University. Here's the game recap: www.uscho.com/recaps/2015/10/24/oregans-three-assists-help-boston-university-defeat-connecticut/Michael Brodzinski, one of our top D prospects, picked up a goal and 2 assists tonight. Minnesota beat Northeastern 4-3 tonight. Gage Ausmus picked up an assist tonight for North Dakota in their 5-2 win over Vermont. He finished a +1, had a shot on goal and blocked two shots. As the polar opposite to Brodzinski. Ausmus is a defensive defenseman. USHL - Adam Parsells picked up the only goal for the Chicago Steel in their 4-1 defeat tonight to his old team the Green Bay Gamblers. Karlis Cukste finished with a -2 and didn't factor into any scoring, but he did register one shot on goal. International - Noah Rod picked up an assist tonight and scored the only goal in the 5 round Shootout to help Geneve Servette pick up a win. He now has 5 goals and 2 assists for 7 points in 14 games in the Swiss league. The front office is high on Noah. I'm interested in seeing what he can do next season when he comes over to NA ice. AHL - Barracudas got shut out by Peter Budaj and the Ontario Reign (Kings) 3-0.

Another strong night so far for the Sharks prospects!
WHL - Alex Schoenborn picked up a goal tonight and finished +1. He finished with 33 points in 49 games last season. He already has 5 goals and 10 points in 12 games this season. An uptick in offensive productivity for a player who is projected as more of a bottom six grinder type.
OHL - Dylan Sadowy put up some more points...shocker I know...He earned 3 assists tonight and finished with 5 shots on goal. Kevin Labanc - Got a goal and an assist tonight. He finished -1 with 2 sog today. He's starting to put up 2+ points per game like we're accustomed to seeing from Labanc. He averaged over 1.5 points per game last season. (107 points in 68 games) Which is a difficult pace to repeat and keep up with. We'll see how he does as this season progresses. He's currently at 5 goals and 15 points in 12 games. (1.25 points per game) Part of this could be because of the absence of Blandisi who scored over 50 goals and 100 points for the Colts last season. Along with Mangiapane and Labanc formed a trio of 100 point producers last season. Also keep in mind Kevin Labanc broke the all-time single season assists record for the Colts. So, he would need to have another record breaking season to repeat that effort.
QMJHL - Sherbrooke was in action today, and it was exciting because Alexis Vanier returned to action from his injury. He suffered a serious season ending injury last season, and he is off to a OEL start this season. So it was unfortunate to see him missing time to an injury again. This is an important year for Alexis Vanier. he doesn't have an ELC yet, and his play this season will dictate if he gets one. In his return tonight he picked up a goal, and finished a -1. Jeremy Roy had a strong game as well. He had a goal and an assist and finished a strong +3 for the night.
KHL- Emil Galimov and the Lokomotiv were in action tonight. Emil ended up not factoring into any of the scoring in the 3-2 victory.

Kelowna Rockets coach saying Chartier won't be back in the lineup for a while and he's, "Day to Day, Week to Week" Doesn't good for our Prospect of the Year last year.

Well, he didn't get a suspension from the league, but his coach benched him for today's game against Flint. So, maybe that'll be the end of it? Not sure.

Well, he didn't get a suspension from the league, but his coach benched him for today's game against Flint. So, maybe that'll be the end of it? Not sure. He's got a 4 game suspension, and Saginaw's getting a fine for having him play last Saturday against Erie. Because he should've been serving his automatic 2 games you get for a game misconduct.

Oct.28th farm results
WHL-
Alex Schoenborn had a good game by the looks of it. He had 1 assist and was +2 on the night, plus he was a his grinder best with a slashing penalty plus a roughing double minor in the Portland Winterhawks victory over Tri-City Americans 5-2.
OHL-
Saginaw Spirit won against the Flint Firebirds 5-3. As Sadowy served his 1st game of his 4 game suspension for his bonehead antics last week. Sadowy won't be back until Nov.7th.
QMJHL-
Timo Meier had 3 assists with a whopping 9 shots on goal, was a +1 and laced out 1 hit. Cavan Fitzgerald was held off the score sheet as he had 3 shots on goal with 2 hits in Halifax Mooseheads 5-3 loss to Acadie-Bathurst Titan.
USHL-
The Chicago Steel were in action yesterday and Karlis Cukste had 1 assist with 1 shot on goal. Adam Parsells was held off the score sheet, he was +1 on the game. The Chicago Steel got beat 4-2 by the Muskegon Lumberjacks.
Swe-1-
Fredrik Bergvik wasn't in goal for Mora IK 3-2 overtime loss against Tingsryds AIF. I wish Bergvik could see more action but he's obviously just the back up this season as he only played in 3 games this season. I'm just biased as I want to see our goalies get in game action.
USPHL- Just a quick update on Mike Robinson he hasn't got in any time so far this season for the junior Bruins and doesn't look like he will see any in the future as he's the #3 goalie on this team with the top 2 having solid seasons so far. Again i'm biased and want to see our goalies play so it's too bad Robinson hasn't seen any action this season.
