I think that cars and driving along with cooking and basic medical should all be added to the mandatory curriculum. you mean that kids need to learn important life things and not have everything handed to them? |

My big thing with school was always that I know 90% of Greek and Roman gods but I never learned how to balance a check book or fill out my taxes. We can't forget about the importance of what Shakespeare meant in that one section of that one play that you'll never read again! Well hey, that was what? 300 years ago? Yet there are still similarities between now and then if you really think about it. |
