Back and forth game tonight. Up 4-2 after 2 periods. The play has been pretty even, but a couple of lucky bounces for the Sharks most in particular the Pavelski and the Wingels goals. A lot of defensive break downs for the Sharks still...that's plagued us since the Islander game. The team does look to be getting some of the chemistry and work ethic back that they lost when Couture got hurt. I still think the line adjustments there could/should have been handled better by Deboer in the sense that he adjusted and changed 3 of our 4 lines to compensate for Couture's injury. However, now that the adjustment has taken place the team seems to be slowly getting their energy on the ice back. They didn't look terrible against the Kings either. The result was terrible, but the on ice play wasn't. With Martin back on D you can tell the difference. It makes the bottom 2 pairs so much better with him there.
