 Yeah he might be doing a lot of goalie switching being that he doesn't have a proven netminder. Thats ok. Its not like they were expected to do much anyways. They will still probably finish higher than the bruins. If you had the choice, who would you want the Bruins to take.... Matthews or Chychrun? |

Thats ok. Its not like they were expected to do much anyways. They will still probably finish higher than the bruins. If you had the choice, who would you want the Bruins to take.... Matthews or Chychrun? As much as this team is going to need a top tier D man, Matthews is way too good to pass on. No disrespect to Chychrun, who is going to be a stud. If they land a top 5 pick in this draft my feelings wouldnt be hurt. Ideally, I would like to see them get a top 5 pick, and another first rounder in the top 10. Sean Day is my second choice for a D man in this coming draft. |

Management didnt exactly 'retool on the fly' very well, so get what you can for your key veterans, keep guys like bergy around for leadership and start collecting picks and prospects. Maybe even Marchand as he would net you the biggest return. Krejci might not be bad either if someone was willing to take his salary. If someone wanted Kelly it would be for futures. Guy has no trade value. Marchand and Eriksson wouldnt be too bad. Problem is a lot of these guys have NTC and NMCs. (thanks Chiarelli), so even if the B's wanted to, they pretty much have to ask everyone they want to trade if they want to leave. If they say no, well then there isnt much anyone can do. |
