I forget, who do you cheer for again? Oilers? 3 syllables....."mic"-"day"-"vid", otherwise spelt "McDavid". You know, I really do want to see the Oilers succeed. My friends and I used to talk about how sick the team will be once things start to click with all the young players.....then it never happens. McJesus will help, but that D core  I cant decide if the Oilers or the Bruins D is worse this year. This is the year the turnaround starts. Chia pet is going to bring back the glory days and Boston is going to turn into what the Oilers have been the past decade. A sad joke created by the good ol' boys. |

Yeah, if we can just get the d system's down and the young guys get everything clicked together, it'll be OEL. It'll be a rollercoaster season, but I've already noticed a OEL progression in team dynamics over the past couple of seasons. I actually think I'm done reading hockey sites for a while. Looked at ON and they did an article of Petry, an article about possibly trading away Draisaitl for a young dman. I'm done with the retanneredness. |

Having seen Chiarelli's body of work the past several seasons, something is definitely on the horizon. I think if the Oil are in the hunt around the deadline, chiarelli will move a piece to get D help. He is capable of blockbuster trades, I just hope he has wised up since Seguin and gets a better return for you guys. |
