I'm also thinking the 32 guys that make the playoffs will get an official HSFFL Manly Cup Playoffs pint glass. I could get into this. I'm going to try and put together a semi official league post up tonight.

You guys wouldn't be anywhere without your west coast scout though. So far your information has been pretty useless... I haven't drafted any of the zero players you referenced me. Just have patience, the junior sharks program going to be producing all-stars.

30 team keeper league Keep your "core 4" 2 Cs 4 Ws 4 Ds 1 G 5 bench slots Obviously we would have to figure the scoring type and some sort of prize. Would anyone be interested in this? How many teams so far?

Well, to be fair. She's dead. Absolutely wonderful woman. But yeah, I will. If you ever come to the midwest or midsouth, let me know. You're welcome to crash here anytime if you're roadtripping it. By the way, what are your specialties in science? Shit man, sorry to hear that As for my speciality, the PhD is in inorganic chemistry (making new catalalysts for various applications)... the funny thing there is that as I've learnt more and more in my direct field, my general chemistry knowledge has been pushed to the side and has since fallen out of my ears Sounds about right. That's just the way she goes sometimes. Any graduate/research education will likely lead to extreme tunneling so it's best to choose something abstract that has many applications.

How many teams so far? I have spots remaining. I've heard yahoo registration opens on the 20th so I expect to have a final league info thread up later this week. I also plan to have sort of an faq thread with info about scoring, trades, waivers, etc.

Yahoo it is then. Once they open registration for this season I will play with it and come up with our scoring system and everything. A rules and FAQ thread shall be created at that time. And there was much rejoicing I'm interested in how the scoring system will be designed. If we can weight the categories appropriately (and have many many categories) I think that would be best. Kinda dumb when BkS are weighted the same as GwG, etc, imo.

I don't want scrubs that get tons of pims and bks to be more valuable than they are in real hockey.

If we got enough interest what's everybody's thoughts on the teams being co-managed by 2 people? Might make things even more interesting and we can determine the true tag team champs. Anyone need a teammate? I'm like Kyle Dubas, except younger

I would like it to have a bunch of complex categories but I want the main ones to be weighted higher. I just want the players rank according to our ranking system to give a relatively accurate comparison of that players value in reality.
