It's nice to see EA has finally crafted their idea of a perfect defenceman.

I'm talking EASHL, if you're forced to play defence for any sort of extended period of time you can't.
There is no tie up so you have to let the forwards stand unopposed in the slot, lifting sticks and poke checks are more likely to get you a penalty than the puck. You basically have to stand beside the player and hope you break it up or go for the hit and hope you don't bounce off of him.
I wish they would sit down and spend time putting defence into the game, I would love to have a "penalty kill" modifier so I can choose to shoot the puck down but put some draw on it, or chip it off the glass at the right angle.
On offence it feels like you have so many tools and I would like to see that matched on defence, they did improve it a lot this year where you can shut guys down on positioning alone and I like that.

I agree. I almost play defense exclusively online and all you do is draw penalties. No one seems to like to pass back to the point if you're on the attack either.

We should play together sometime, I also enjoy playing d.
The forwards are usually too dumb to pass it back even though you are wide open and would create so much space for them.

Potential for rebounds too. But yeah, that sounds good to me. As long as we don't play goalie again like we did in the league.

Were you there for that massive meltdown? I don't think so. I had to jump off at like 1 for that issue at work (on my fucking day off). It was stupid. What happened?
