Man, how's work today? Fucking getting killed over here. Yeah, know the feeling. Had to do a delivery for my installer a couple days ago with a bunch of porcelain tile. By myself, in another state. It sucked. Had to drive with a loose pallet on highways, side roads, and downtown and then get to a house that had a rock driveway that was half a mile long. The installer refused to help me move the tile inside, and I had to park like 50 ft away from the house and bring it all in to the back of the big ass house, then had to bring the old tile back the same way, one box at a time and then rewrap a pallet of loose tile and drive all the way back with an even less secure pallet. Ugh. Still absolutely in a ton of pain from that. |

I had times at Home Depot back in the day I'd work double shifts 3 times a week on top of working regular shifts the other 4.. one period I worked 42 days straight in this fashion. I will get time off. In the meantime, I will just collect my massive paychecks. Part of the problem is half the people are on vacation or out sick right now. I pick up all the slack or at least most of it. I think in April I am going to go to Vegas for a week and party like a motherfucker. After that, probably take another week off just to sit at home and not do shit. Just bought myself a new gun too. Pretty pumped about it. |
