I'm really into techno and tech house. Really enjoy the dirtybird label. Claude von Stroke is awesome. But I love me some classic trance and psytrance. That crazy shit is awesome. Eric Prydz/Pryda/Cirez D will always be my top favourite.

Anyone that's on the Anjuna label in general is worth listening to. Ilan Bluestone. Fehrplay is the biggest Anjuna guy if you ask me. He left the Pryda label (Eric Prydz) because of professional differences and joined Anjuna. Agreed, anjuna is pretty much my first stop for electronic music. I try and tune in to ABGT every week (and have it downloaded to my phone automatically). I'm also a fan of Genix, Jason Ross and Jerome Isma-Ae. Big props also to James Grant, Lane 8 and Jodi Wisternoff  8-)All this. |

Agreed, anjuna is pretty much my first stop for electronic music. I try and tune in to ABGT every week (and have it downloaded to my phone automatically). I'm also a fan of Genix, Jason Ross and Jerome Isma-Ae. Big props also to James Grant, Lane 8 and Jodi Wisternoff i'm actually listening to the ABGT100 Deep Warmup Set. So chill. I'm pretty new to EDM as I only used to listen to rock, punk, and metal. Recently I've gotten big into rap, EDM, and remixes but need to find some more in the way of EDM to listen to. Suggestions?

I'm pretty new to EDM as I only used to listen to rock, punk, and metal. Recently I've gotten big into rap, EDM, and remixes but need to find some more in the way of EDM to listen to. Suggestions? Tons of suggestions. What sort of gaming platforms do you have access to? If you can get a hold of the original Nintendo entertainment system, or Sega master or Genesis. Pretty much any of the games for those systems, will give you the basics, from which all EDM has been derived. Just need to add a little base, as the technology back then was only 8 or 16 bit.  |
