What's wrong with 4.5 for a top 4 defenceman? Demers is a terrible defenseman, he's a turnover machine. There's a reason why stars a defensively deficient team let him go. He's only averaging about 40 turnovers a season which is third among Dallas defence and average among his peers. His advanced numbers are all pretty OEL and put him at a #3 spot on a depth chart plus he's a righty which is hard to find. I think the reason Dallas let him go is that they stupidly invested 10.4 million dollars into two average goalies and a stacked forward core. |

Nielsen fills a need with a top six center leaving. Really happy with his hit, but hate his term. Helm is crap. AA is the same thing as helm but doubled, plus he can score, is 6 years younger and much cheaper. Could be worse, you could be the dumbshit that signed Backes for 5 years @ 6per. Fucking Bruin's management will never learn No, Backes is to replace Krecji that will be traded quick. |
