Exactly, I mean the Q started on the 10th. They're already 4-5 games in. So, by the time Meier gets back to the Moose they be 6-8 games in already. the WHL just kicked off last night and Kelowna's first game is Saturday so that's all good. Chartier won't miss a game. Sadowy already played in the OHL opening night last night. I was glad they send down Svechnikov. Think Goldy makes it onto the team this year? Not out of camp, no. I think Donskoi is ahead of him in that pecking order if one were to make it. However, do I think he'll be on the Sharks before the season is over? Yes. I think he'll be a mid season call up.

Donskoi doesn't really seem ahead of him, in my limited opinion. Goldobin will be a OEL second liner for you guys. Trade him to us, please?

Trade him to us, please? The difference is that Donskoi has a lot more professional hockey time. He's 24 years old. He's also really impressed the coaching staff during the training camps and preseason so far. I wouldn't be surprised if he makes the team when we finally shut down Torres. I feel like they would play Donskoi on the 3rd or 4th line, but with Goldy I think they want to make sure he's top 6 when he comes up.

Donskoi will be a OEL 3rd liner, potentially jumping up to the second line on the power play or injuries. But Goldobin would be wasted playing bottom six sheltered. I think with how strong and defensively responsible your top six is, he'd be sheltered just enough to help him develop quickly. Who leaves the top six for him?

We'll wait for the first one to get hurt. Although, I think right now we'd be better off with Goldy than Ward in the top 6. However, I believe we'll start the season with Ward on Couture's line. Also, we're going to have to wait and see which Marleau we get this year. Do we get the 30-40 goal guy back, or do we get the Marleau we saw last season? Is he truly on the decline or was it just a bump in the road? I think those questions will be asked of him this season.

And I think he'll answer those questions in the first 20 games. Marly is one of those players who doesn't get hot and cold in long streaks. He stays consistent on a month to month basis. So, by the end of November, we should know if he's hitting that proverbial brick wall. Ward is going to be good for you guys, especially on the PP. He could easily slot on the 2nd or 3rd line at even strength and provide a good shot and puck scrum presence. He's better than a lot of people give him credit for.

I'm a big Ward fan, and I really wanted Dougie to sign him the last time he was a UFA...instead we got Michal Handzus.

I absolutely hate our 2nd line, leaving Marleau on his wing and then if they put Ward on there too......ohh fucking jesus Christ I will flip out. Ward a cool player but he'll be exposed playing top 6 minutes, Ward's just a 3rd line grinder 2nd pp duties type of guy, anymore you're just asking for it. Our 2nd line last year was a joke just pitiful what Logan had to deal with as his line mates a declining Marleau and revolving door at RW(thanks Todd)......Logan doesn't need to be stuck with the old farts. I've screamed so loud for Hertl to be on Logan's line but I don't think that's going to happen.....and it's going to be Marleau-Logan-Ward

Put him with Coots and he's got a good playmaker to help him. He could be good for 20 goals. He's got a good shot and has speed. Ward is better than you think.

Then hopefully goldobin will be ready to take his spot 1/3 of the season in. But I wouldn't be surprised at all if goldobin makes the team out of training camp and is slotted on that line
