Dog tags are just really easy to customize and there are so many varieties that it makes it an easy option for a yearly purchase for the name plates. Would we want to do bronze, silver or a different color? (assuming the trophy will be wood with a dark stain applied to it?) I like the silver or a gold tint. That works well with a dark stain. Shiney enough to be fine. Bronze would be a little too early 70s living room feel with that type of wood. |

Ladies and gentlemen, the trophy is officially under construction. Well, its in line behind a bunch of other things anyways. Hope everyone likes it. I did the best I could with size/materials for our budget. Getting a crystal cup topper, so the victor will be able to drink out of it! Just a reminder, this will not be a perennial trophy. It will just say "Hockey Stuff Forum Fantasy League Champion". With this group, getting a name plate put on every year would just be a hassle. But we can officially say that our league plays for something every year. The victor earns the Crystal Cup! (or whatever you want to call the damn thing).  |
