The Flames are going to have to trade a goalie..... Hiller, Ramo & Ortio all have one way contracts. Ortio would never make it through waivers, so one of the three got to be on the move.

I was very surprised that Ramo resigned there to be honest. I feel that they have wanted to move Hiller since last season, San Jose could use a goalie if Stalock or Jones don't work out. |

I'm a huge fan of Gillies, that's the goalie i want from them. |

They also are stockpiling a gross amount of defence and their forwards are pretty damn good. The BOA is going to be awesome for the next decade. |

I wonder what's going to happen with Gio after this season if they'll re sign him. Whatever Gio gets i would suspect it's a good template on what Burns will get. |

He will be 33 when that extension starts. How long do you want to sign a 33 year old who has not been durable to a 7.5 million dollar extension. I think if he was 28 the Flames would have already backed up the truck for him. |
