I had to create a new one for the poll.
But which would you rather have on your team? Ryan Getzlaf is one of the premiere power centers in the league. He's got size, skill, and insane playmaking skills. He's sound defensively and will beat the shit out of you.
On the other hand, you have Corey Perry, one of the best wingers in the league. He's got size as well, and will use it. He can snipe from any angle and has speed. He's scored 30 goals 5 times, including a 43 and 50 goal campaign. He's also got a Hart trophy.

I went with Getzlaf, something tells me Perry wouldn't be anywhere near as good without him.

I went with Getzlaf, something tells me Perry wouldn't be anywhere near as good without him. They're like twins. They started together in the minors, came up together and will probably retire together. I would pick Getzlaf too, because, like Thornton, a power forward who's also a number one center, is EXTREMELY hard to find. |
