I got sidetracked and missed watching the gold medal game, sounds like I'm going to have to look up the highlights  You may want to skip the Bronze medal game. USA put up 10 goals on Canada. Was a blowout. Canada was never in the game. For some reason I don't find that surprising. How many games did you get to go see? I remember growing up in Halifax and my dad and I would get tickets for all the tournaments. I remember watching Nash/Spezza/Heatley on a line in the world's and they just ripped it up. I think I was the only fan in the building cheering on Kopitar at that time too |

I think Chychrun will take a bit to be a beast, like Hanafin, but he will be solid early. Too poised not to be, he's no Ekblad though. Chychrun is going to be a Red Wing at the draft. We'll trade Datsyuk for the pick.  |

A lot of scouts saying that Juolevi or whatever the fuck his Finnish name is will be the best D in the draft. I've seen some make a case for Sergachev too. One things for certain, the top end defense in this draft isn't quite the Hanifin/ Provorov crop of last year. Not quite as good, but still a quality player. The top 3 D will likely go on to be top 4 D men eventually. I'm ready for Boston's off the board pick that never pans out and cant pass conditioning tests. |
