We should get an admin to add a poll to this. Lately the rookie scoring leader has been topping 60 points and McDavid is better than any of them, 70 seems like a reach but that's my prediction.

I think he will end up in the 60's. All depends on who he plays with and if they can gel quickly.
What will be interesting to see is how much it helps the scoring for the lines he isn't on. I think opposing teams are going to focus on shutting him down.

I think he will end up in the 60's. All depends on who he plays with and if they can gel quickly. What will be interesting to see is how much it helps the scoring for the lines he isn't on. I think opposing teams are going to focus on shutting him down. I think initially teams continue to play top defenders against nuge/ Ebs/ hall ( or pouliot). They are proven scorers. Until mcDavid is clearly better than those guys he should get middle competition. Either way other teams will be fucked. If mcDavid gets top competition imagine what Ebs / nuge could be against weaker competition |
