I appreciate it. We're in a bit of a plateau. Kind of pissed that HB77 came in here on his knees begging. Yeah it seems like both HB and us are struggling for consistent traffic which sucks. I don't get why people bitch about the shitty posters over there and then refuse to post here. Pretty sure they aren't struggling for consistent traffic. Also those that like to bitch, typically want to keep bitching for the sake of bitching. They don't really want to make a change and then have nothing to bitch about.  |

I get some of their reasonings. They just need to realize this is NOT HB.. I don't have a blogger to where we can post on one so-called "Master Thread." Its why Reveen stopped posting here. I'm willing to help people out. Fuck, I streamlined the boards down to a few. But I'm not going to outright make this an HB clone. Shit, in fact, we're easier to manuever here than HB.. the difference is we have our previous conversations links more prominent. It's not difficult to manoeuvre at all, I don't get that argument but I'm not a mobile user so I can't speak to that. I think the big thing is that people are comfortable with HB and don't want to get used to something new. |

Oh fuck. Alex pops in, posts for a lil bet, then takes off to watch some weird foreign movie. HB77 is there most of the day, everyday, in multiple threads. I admire his tenacity though. Can't imagine he gets a lot of work done though.  |

Well, it didn't help that Jero got rePotato'd for a week almost immediately off the bat. Reveen is over there playing on his alt, which is fine by me. I mean, I'm honestly not worried about this site. My other hockey one that I helped start like 4-5 years ago has been in talks with me to get this site posted on it so we can get some major extra traffic. We have about 150-200 decent posters on my other website. |

The thing is, we don't have niche communities yet, like HB has. We don't have a group of 50 Habs fans, 100 leafs fans, 75 Oiler fans, etc.. that will stick primarily under their team's thread page. So, while there are like 20 active users here right now, we pretty much get to jump around. But, we've pretty much been sticking to like 3-4 main ones.. Hockey News, Stuff Talk, HSF Fantasy, and Game Night Threads. And I think that's starting to work. |

Nah, its a hockey group from the old NHL.com comments page.. we invited the good ones from there and made basically a protoHSF.. they're a lot more hockey focused for the most part and of the Iggy generation, but they're OEL people. I'm going to push for the link being posted soon. |
