frustrating
this season is well on its way to getting ugly As much as people are shitting on John Shannon right now he was absolutely right. The Oilers need to learn to win, more specifically they need to learn that they can win and trust in the guy beside them. Instead of getting shellacked in the first and fighting back they need to learn to come out and give it to the other team from the get go.

the never ending losses getting thrown to the wolves outta the gate have made this team so fragile. I think they were failed from the get go by the organization
it could turn quickly if they could string some success together and get that confidence they can get it done. but its gets harder and harder with every loss. no doubt theyre a much better team. but moral victories aren't enough anymore

They might need one really big trade to finally turn that corner, not just from a talent perspective but also from a character perspective. They are a vanilla team with no fiery vocal guys from what we see.

Same here. Yeah I would love to see Chiarelli bring in a defenseman who can play first line minutes.
