Ok. So, the trade deadline is like three months away. This will be a thread where we can openly discuss trade rumors, trades that happen, and other shit.
We've seen the first real trade in a while with Daley for Scuderi. I was surprised by this move for the Blackhawks. While Scuds is a UFA this off season, its still the epitome of pylons. Daley wasn't really clicking, but he could have gotten better than Scuds. I'd have traded Daley for a B or C prospect and a pick and just be done with it. I bet Pens fans have had to hide their tents all week after this trade

He's a veteran with multiple Cups and can play the hard minutes that Daley wasn't suited for. Plus that cap space they picked up is the best part of the deal.

He can't skate and his puck handling is atrocious. He's a stalwart and is good in his own end but tends to get left in the dust a lot. The cap space is quite true though. And I didn't realize Scuds was not a UFA.

The loss of Martin really hurt them I think. Daley to me is a throw away character that they could duplicate with Pouliot. I don't know if Pouliot is in WBS or PIT right now, tbh.

Hearing rumors of Lecavalier being moved to Section 102 at Wells Fargo Center. More to come.

Then he resigns for 5 mil for 7 years.
