Montreal trades Tinordi for Stefan Elliot and John Scott www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/montreal-canadiens-trade-jarred-tinordi/Then flipped Elliot immediately to Nashville for Victor Bartley. CORRECTION: Nashville traded bartley to arizona for elliot and Arizona then traded Scott and Bartley to Montreal for Tinordi and a "Minor Leaguer" who has not been named as of yet EDIT: The "minor leaguer" is Stefan Fournier

It's not every day you can trade a healthy scratch for an All-Star. Guess we know who GM of the year is...

Yeah. Really surprised about this small trade. Why in the fuck would anyone trade for john scott, dump or not? Betcha Bettman had something to do with it With all the media attention Scott is getting, its looking more and more like Montreal is going to be the winner of this trade. Watch Scott become completely inspired and put up like 20 points with the habs the rest of the season.

Scott puts the entire team on his back offensively, undergoes a controversial knee swap procedure with Carey Price and then the two of them carry the Habs into a playoff spot.

John Scott is the new Habs starting goaltender. John Scott absorbs the life force from Ben Scrivens and thus allows Price to be expendable via trade.
