Going to go with Bergeron. I think that pick is pretty obvious. Without him scoring a bunch of points, including many clutch goals, the Bruins aren't anywhere close to the playoffs. What is it going to take to acquire Bergeron? Assuming Sweeney is dumb enough to listen to offers (he very well could be), here is what I would imagine a blockbuster would look like. 2 1st round picks and a blue chip prospect OR A high first round pick, a conditional pick of some sort, good prospect and a solid top 6 roster player. Bergeron for Howard. Tootoo and Farnham for Nyquist |

Lol poor Jimmy getting shit on He's average at best. He's declined from good/almost OEL to just where he would command a 1-2 year contract as a 1b like Gustavsson. |

He doesn't do defense and I think a lot of his shine of being a #1 overall has faded away. Plus if Boston wasn't guaranteed a center back in this deal I dont see them taking it. If it is me, my counter proposal is 2016 1st rounder (if it isnt a top 3 pick, then a conditional 2nd as well), RNH and Griffin Reinhart. The conditional pick would be something to do with Griffin Reinhart and the number of games he plays the following season or something like that. |
