Who do you consider the best player on your team? Whether they are the best right now or you think they will be the best player soon, what would it take to trade for your best player?

What got me thinking of this was I was thinking of a Karlsson/Hall swap the other day and if either team would even consider it.

Schneider and it's not even close. What would it take to get him? Top 3 goal tender in the league? Doubt they move him. With Zacha, Santini and Wood in the near future and Blandisi and Boucher contributing I think the Devils skipped the rebuild. Weird team, competitive but no superstar in the NHL or on the horizon. |

Would have to be Larkin. He's the best right now and will continue to just get bwtter. Not that he's more skilled than datsyuk but he brings so much more youth, speed, strength, and freshness to our team. For me, on a biased measure, it'd take a top ten overall pick, a true top pairing young dman and a top six winger. OEL, Duclair, and their first if not top three. |

Going to go with Bergeron. I think that pick is pretty obvious. Without him scoring a bunch of points, including many clutch goals, the Bruins aren't anywhere close to the playoffs.
What is it going to take to acquire Bergeron? Assuming Sweeney is dumb enough to listen to offers (he very well could be), here is what I would imagine a blockbuster would look like.
2 1st round picks and a blue chip prospect OR A high first round pick, a conditional pick of some sort, good prospect and a solid top 6 roster player.
