I worked during the summers too, but it was still nice going from 2 jobs and 16 credit hours a semester to just the 2 jobs.

Its nice coming home from work and realizing......Shit I can actually do stuff now. I went to college for 7 years to get my Masters, and it took about a year for me to get over the anxiety I had when coming home. I would wake up in the middle of the night thinking I had forgot to do an assignment or write a paper and completely freak out. Sometimes even to the point where I would get out of bed at 4 am and turn my computer on, open up word and search in my binders for my assignment only to realize.......I have been done with classes for 3 months. It was like having a very very minor form of PTSD

It was like having a very very minor form of PTSD I hear you. I got three associates degrees from my three years and a few certs, but it wasn't until I went back for my bachelors that the nightmares began where I would wake up sweating thinking I forgot that I had classes to go to that I actually didn't sign up for. Its been two years now but I still get those mornings where I jump out of bed cursing and then running to my university's website to try and log in and then remember I stopped going after 3 semesters. My biggest fear was always a bad GPA after graduating high school with a 2.9 due to skipping class a LOT. And I shouldn't even have those issues because I got my first three years in at a 3.75 and my last 3 semesters at a 4.0. But I still have anxiety over it when people ask for my college GPA on hiring or promotion interviews. I guess that 3.84 average in college/uni is terrible in my mind.
