I'm hoping that either fucking Columbus or the jets fuck up and draft a defenseman, or tkachuk/dubois and that we can get either poolparty or laine or that some team will go full regard if one of the Finns are available and trades a #1/2 dman and their pick for ours.

I'm almost confident enough to bet money that the Bruins will take Julien Gauthier at 14 if he is there, and Logan Stanley with their late round pick. They want to get "heavier" on the right side and Gauthier fits that bill. Then they will draft a Chara-ish sized player in Stanley.

I hope the Oilers do the same. They better trade that pick!!! There is no reason besides availability that the Oilers couldn't package that first with players and other picks for a top pairing dman this year |
