As much as I would love to see Ference on the outside looking in, I don't think the brass will do it. Unless he absolutely shits the bed. All he has to do is not completely suck and show some emotion and he will hold down the #6 spot. I could see him moving to a playoff contender if the team is well outside of the playoff picture come the trade dl. I can't remember where I read it, but it sounds like Ference will be fighting to just stay in the lineup. (Frank) that would be OEL. I think he still can elevate his game a little if he knows he is playing for his roster spot. But, coaches, GM's etc will always say that. I'm sure if asked, Hall is playing for a spot and it's not guaranteed. Let's just hope the players that earn the spots actually play. |
