No doubt Dubnyk carried the wild into the playoff last year going on an insane Iron man run similar to that of Hammond for the Sens. But is his success repeatable?

He's inconsistent as fuck but he did post a .920 in Edmonton during the 12-13 season. That was good for 14th in the NHL so maybe he does have what it takes. |

He went on record having said he changed his style of play. He also posted semi-decent numbers in Arizona and unseated Mike Smith for the starting role (not a hard feat, but good considering Dubnyk was long forgotten at the time). I think he can find success, but last years success is unsustainable. |

Average quality nhl starter imo. Not good enough to carry a team.

Well one thing is for sure, I think Minny paid him like a starter, so for better or for worse, he is their guy. Question is if he will perform. I agree, was black magic, but it will be a complete team effort to make the playoffs. I dont think Dubnyk will be able to steal games for them like Price does for Montreal. |

He's a legit starter I feel. He's worth what he's getting paid and he'll be in the contention for the Vezina 2 or so more times before he retires.
