I'm sure Snow has been shopping him for a while and the asking price has been too high. Now that it's public though the price may come down as it will be a distraction. As usual the fan proposals flying around are fucking retannered. |

Never know Winnipeg might just do a Byfuglien for Hamonic trade. Considering its contract year for Buff and that sweet ass cap hit that hamonic has.

They are asking for a similar defenceman back which is fair. The Oilers only comparable player is Klefbom right now.

They're gonna have to accept the best offer out there. They could have a bidding war right now though, Winnipeg, Calgary and Edmonton are performing poorly and want to get it going. Vancouver is sitting in a playoff spot but they know they aren't that good. Ideally the price would go down but this is one instance where I could see the price going up. |

It's a bit of an overpay, and I hate the thought of losing Yak but it's becoming obvious that he can only play with certain players, and with Draisaitl and Eberle on the RW, we're covered in the top 6.
