Need to work Hanzal in there somehow, he is after all a top 10 center in the league. You wouldn't know that though being the worst poster of all time. Some people just don't get it. It's going to be OEL and Hanzal with Mike Smith.

I'm pretty sure the only reason they don't make the playoffs every is because Tanner isn't their GM. Not that that is a slight against Maloney, he is after the top GM in the NHL.

I'm excited for the 3v3. Watched a lot of AHL last year and was very happy with it. Really opened up the ice for players and love seeing the skill reemerge.

I think the good teams will really feast on the bad teams. In the AHL the scoring at 3 on 3 was through the roof, I don't remember the exact numbers but it was a staggering increase in games decided in OT. Some teams are toast if they suffer injuries or ejections in games, Ottawa without Karlsson on the ice would be terrible. Arizona without OEL is going to get slaughtered, some teams might actually opt for 3 forwards. They went from something like 36% of games being decided in OT and not shootout To about 72% in OT and not shootout. That is OEL. I don't hate the shootout, but it is happening way to frequently and losing it's appeal. If the Oilers are only involved in 3 or 4 a year I think it will bring back some of the excitement.

This is how I feel about the shootout. Its an amazing thing when its only in maybe 5-6 games per team per year. Not a fifth of the games. The 3v3 will create a lot of room for skill to be on display too, a lot more so than 5v5 or even 4v4.

Watching a guy like Eberle get to show of his mitts is fucking OEL, but when he's doing it so much he is starting to take wristers from the slot you know he's doing it too much. Love the avi by the way!

Not individual talent as a gimmick to decide a game. That's what the skills comps are for.

Love the avi by the way! Thanks! I like it! Its a perfect stop gap until our GIF wizard finishes mine. And yeah, Eberle will be sick on a 3v3. Give him RNH and Sekera and thats an amazing second line for the 3v3. I'm excited to see Datsyuk - Zetterberg - Kronwall. They are like the Sedins almost when those three are on the ice. They know exactly where to go, when to pass, and when to shoot. They may be older and slower but that line up still makes me grin. On a younger note: Tatar - Sheahan - Smith would be a OEL third option after Richards Abdelkader Green.

At least until the younger players find a mesh with each other.
